These are the general shipping policies for A Bit of Wow. If you have questions, you may contact us or visit our FAQ page to ask your question or find an answer.
Shipping times
It’s our goal to ship products within two business days. Often, we ship the next business day depending on when you placed your order.
The time the product takes to get to you, of course, depends on the shipping method you choose. USPS first class and retail ground typically take between 2-8 days for delivery in the continental US once they’re shipped. USPS Priority Mail typically takes 1-3 days for delivery once shipped.
International packages may take up to three weeks to arrive, depending on your location.
Shipping methods
We now use only USPS to ship our packages, as we find that, for most items, we get the best rates and it simplifies our configuration. For small items such as enamel pins, we will generally ship via First Class package or USPS Ground Advantage. We use USPS Priority and Express mail for expedited options. For international shipping we use the international versions of the same.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs are shown in your shopping bag based on the shipping location and are calculated from the sender’s zip code of 98370. Virtual/downloadable items, of course, do not incur a shipping cost.
Shipping locations
We ship in the continental United States and we do ship internationally to most locations. We do not ship to Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Ukraine, Sierra Leone, Palestinian Territories, Myanmar, Crimea Ukraine, Liberia, Lebanon, Sudan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Kyrgyzstan, Ghana, Kazakhstan.
There are some high-value or large products for which we might disable international shipping, however.
Tracking
USPS provides us with a tracking number when a label is created. When we ship, we will update your order with an order note with the USPS tracking number.
Shipping Refunds
We do not offer refunds for shipping or return costs except in the case that an item was lost or damaged in transit or you received the wrong item. Return shipping, unless the item was not as described or damaged in transit, is the customer’s responsibility.
Free Shipping
Currently, we offer free shipping on orders in the continental US over $100 and in Washington State over $35.
Delivery of Virtual/Downloadable Products
For most downloadable products such as embroidery files or SVG graphics, you may download your file(s) immediately in your account once your payment has been processed.
When we sell either photo downloads or prints that are automatically fulfilled, we may do so on another website via a different checkout process. You will know if this is the case when you look at the item.
Why do this? Setting up photo downloads in our shopping cart on this site is a time consuming process for each photo we list. Our other website does the process automatically for us, saving us a great deal of time.
Photo Products
As mentioned above, some photo prints and products are sold via our other website. You will know if this is the case when you view the item. For those items, we use White House as our processor.
We also use Bay Photo as a photo processor when we fulfil prints on this website. In such cases, they ship the photos to you.
I do not keep a large inventory on hand as I have limited storage space. I do from time to time, however, experiment with my own prints. It will say on the item if it is printed here or will be fulfiled by the lab.
